April’s 25-year nursing career began in 1999 after graduating from McQueen Gibbs Willis School of Nursing. Thereafter, she graduated from both the University of Maryland’s baccalaureate degree program and soon after their acute care master’s degree program for nurse practitioners in 2007.
At the same time, she continued to work in various capacities, including the emergency department where she was a forensic examiner, ER nurse consultant, and eventually a hospitalist with a palliative care stint.
April is a Board-certified acute care nurse practitioner and an ACLS provider.
Working at Bay Hematology Oncology fulfills April’s continuing commitment to providing quality care to her local community.
